The Texas Bandmasters Association's 71st Annual Convention was held in San Antonio this past July. TBA is one of the nation's largest Band Directors Associations and hosts numerous performances, clinics, and a full industry trade show over a three-day period.
The Texas Bandmasters Association Board of Directors presents awards to "...individuals for their commitment and dedication to music education." Award categories include Exemplary Band, Lifetime Administrator Achievement, Meritorious Achievement, Music Industry, and Bandmaster of the Year.
