Renee Tarczon

Renee has been a music educator for over 15 years.  There is not an age or level that she has not taught.  A licensed Kindermusik educator since 1993, Renee currently teaches children from birth through 4 years at St. Andrew UMC in Plano.  She also teaches group and private piano lessons to students as young as 4 years old.  During her 10 years of teaching retired adults, she realized that there’s no such thing as “being too old to learn to play your favorite songs”.  Her oldest beginner was 99 years old.  Renee coordinates Romeo Music’s annual Roland Piano Festival and enjoys being able to work with and remind teachers (and families) that piano lessons are supposed to be fun and creative.
Education
Renee holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Stephen F. Austin State University (with a concentration in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy).
