Vanessa received her bachelor's degree in Choral Music Education from Baylor University. During her time there, she won a National Association of Teachers of Singing competition and toured the country singing with the Baylor A Cappella and Concert Choirs. After graduating, she was a featured soloist at Carnegie Hall. Prior to joining Romeo Music, she served as a secondary choir director in Dallas/Fort Worth. Additionally, Vanessa has a deep passion for church music and worship arts. She is an accomplished multi-genre vocalist, lead singing for the Dallas/Fort Worth arena rock band, The 8tracks. Vanessa had the opportunity to perform with The 8tracks, the in-field house band at the 2020 NHL Winter Classic in the Cotton Bowl for over 85,000 attendees.
