Based in Indianapolis, Indiana, Alex brings hands-on experience in the marching arts and music education to Romeo Music – supporting schools across Indiana, Colorado, and Arizona. As a Music Technology Consultant, he helps educators and programs get the most out of their music technology with practical guidance and creative solutions.
With a background in WGI, DCI, marching band, and winter percussion, Alex has worked as a music educator, designer, composer, and part-time adjudicator in Colorado and Indiana. He has also served as an Educational Representative for Music & Arts, helping teachers and music programs across Indiana succeed.
Education
Alex graduated in 2010 from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Music Education, where he studied percussion under Gray Barrier and performed with the marching band, wind ensemble, and symphony orchestra. He continues to perform regularly on drums and percussion with the McArdell Express in Terre Haute and Indianapolis, as well as with show choir bands and various church ensembles.
