The Novacore NCHEC system combines the NCR1 digital receiver with the NCHHEC handheld transmitter and the NCEC extended cardioid capsule to create a complete wireless solution for vocal performance, speech, and presentation environments. The NCR1 anchors the system with an all-metal half-rack chassis, stable digital tuning from 494 to 542 MHz, and fifty megahertz of available bandwidth for dense channel planning. Its high-visibility display provides clear metering of essential parameters, while the menu structure maintains straightforward access to configuration tools. Remote control and monitoring run through the rear RJ11 port, and the XLR output features a variable level setting to match a wide range of input sensitivities across consoles and production systems.

The NCHHEC transmitter and NCEC capsule form the front end of the audio path, delivering the familiar transient accuracy and feedback control associated with Audix VLM diaphragms. The metal transmitter chassis supports either an 18500 lithium-ion battery or two AA alkaline batteries with more than ten hours of runtime, supporting extended use without interruption. Menu navigation is designed to support both engineers and performers, keeping RF, gain, and system settings accessible during fast turnarounds.
