Audix Novacore NCTH - Tight Hypercardioid Capsule For "S" Thread Type Handheld Transmitters

The Audix NCTH is a tight hypercardioid dynamic capsule designed for handheld transmitters (not included) within the Novacore ecosystem and compatible with any s thread interface. Its acoustic structure is engineered for close vocal use in high volume environments, allowing it to maintain focused pickup and strong rejection of ambient sound. The capsule leverages a Very Low Mass VLM diaphragm that preserves clarity and articulation even when performers work inches from the grille.

The hypercardioid pattern provides significant rejection at the perimeter and rear of the capsule, delivering extreme isolation on loud stages where open monitors, backline, sidefill, and guitar wars  complicate gain staging. With a maximum sound pressure level of 144 dB, the capsule holds its tonal stability and dynamics under aggressive vocal levels. This design supports higher gain before feedback and minimizes spill from surrounding instruments, giving you articulate vocals and a more controlled mix in the monitors and FOH.

Mechanical construction and airflow geometry keep the diaphragm stable across long performance sessions, while the electrical interface ensures predictable behavior with all compatible Novacore handheld transmitters. The result is a capsule that delivers isolation, clarity, and transient precision for stages where loud is a requirement.
