As Romeo's AV Design Engineer and Director of Designs, Josh Cavanaugh leads the design of audio-visual systems for a wide range of clients and venues. From acoustic treatment and sound reinforcement, to projection, lighting, and control systems, Josh translates each client's vision into detailed, buildable designs — partnering with clients and installation teams to make sure every space performs exactly as intended.

A self-taught designer certified in Extron, Q-SYS, QSC, and Allen & Heath, Josh has built his expertise through years of hands-on work in the field. He has done everything from mixing large-scale live events to designing and installing systems for churches, convention centers, and schools at every level — from elementary campuses to colleges. His designs balance function, budget, and long-term reliability, helping every organization get the most out of their investment.
