In this level, we show students how to use Ableton Live (Mac and PC), an industry-standard digital audio workstation used by music professionals in studios and on stages around the world. Through the ‘Ableton in the Classroom’ initiative, schools can receive this professional software for free! Building on the key concepts of music production covered in the previous level, this curriculum leads students through substantial projects covering high-level principles like sampling and synthesizers.

This curriculum presents interviews with GRAMMY-winners and multi-platinum professionals where they discuss how they’ve built sustainable careers implementing the skills students learned during Music Production 1 and 2. All of this culminates in a capstone project where students create and release an album, their industry debut!
